Marché Health Launches Digital Health Marketplace & Community

On October 5, Marché Health announced the launch of Marché Health Digital Health Marketplace and Community, the most comprehensive resource for identifying, evaluating and rolling out digital health tools and solutions.

Debuting with an initial focus on telemedicine, remote patient monitoring and digital therapeutics, the marketplace is connecting organizations seeking digital tools with suppliers and innovators.

Deloitte’s 2020 Survey of U.S. Physicians found that 83% of physicians believe that patient-generated data from apps, wearables and sensors would be integrated into care delivery as standard practice within the next five to 10 years. COVID-19 sped up that timeline and showed that digital tools can enhance care plans, improve the patient and clinician experience, and lower costs. The resulting acceleration of new digital solutions to market and deluge of high-promising yet unproven new digital products and services has resulted in confusion that has delayed digital health adoption and hampered progress.

Marché Health is creating a trusted, independent, unbiased digital health marketplace that infuses information and data with community engagement and feedback to educate and empower healthcare decisionmakers. The marketplace directly convenes health systems and other providers, digital health companies, payers, biopharma and entrepreneurs to learn about products and each other, engage over digital health needs, and explore potential solutions and partnerships.

Coala Life, a Swedish digital health company that provides remote patient monitoring for cardiac patients, is one of the first innovators to partner with the Marché Health Marketplace and Community.

“Cardiovascular disease is the most common chronic disease with serious implications if not managed and remotely monitored accordingly,” said Philip Siberg, CSO and co-founder of Coala Life. “After successfully rolling out our remote heart monitor in Europe, we expanded our focus to address cardiovascular disease in the United States. By partnering with Marché Health, we are reaching more practices and delivering devices to patients who experience heart disease symptoms, so they can be diagnosed sooner.”

The Marché Digital Health Marketplace and Community launches with about 350 solutions that customers can evaluate, review and implement. More categories and companies are continuously added.

“The recent boom in digital health has led to a flood of new entrants that has made it difficult for healthcare organizations to implement solutions that are a fit for their practice,” said Dr. Manny Fombu, founder of Marché Health. “Marché Health simplifies the procurement process for global digital innovation that improves care while lowering costs. Our comprehensive marketplace and community levels the playing field so that clinicians, pharma, payers and vendors can all learn from each other and discover the best matched resources for transforming care.”

Backed by Pandion Optimization Alliance, a leading group purchasing organization (GPO) ensuring hospitals receive the products and services needed across all care settings, Marché Health helps organizations adopt the technology resources needed for meeting the quadruple aim of better outcomes. Pandion is a strategic partner and certified sponsor of Premier, Inc., a leading healthcare improvement company working with more than 4,100 hospitals and health systems.
